About four lakh employed teachers of Bihar are adamant on the demand of giving them the status of state employees. He is demanding to be given the status of a state employee without appearing in the competency test. With this in mind, under the banner of Bihar Teacher Ekta Manch, a call has been given for the proposed Big Teacher Satyagraha Movement in Patna today. To participate in this, thousands of teachers have again started reaching Patna from other districts of the state, while thousands of teachers have already reached Patna at night itself.
A crowd of teachers started gathering
A crowd of teachers has started gathering at the protest site of Gardanibagh since 7 am on Tuesday morning. But the teachers who reached Patna in the morning are getting information about being stopped at Patna Bypass in the name of investigation. Patna Police has stopped them. The employed teachers coming for the protest allege that preparations are being made to crush our movement. We have been stopped in the bypass itself. However, our movement will not stop because of all this. The education department is adopting all kinds of tactics to stop our movement. But, we are not going to stop. We are not going to stop until our demands are met.
This work is against the conduct of teachers
Earlier, Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department KK Pathak had ordered strict action against the teachers involved in the torch procession. Instructions were given to all the DMs of Bihar by the Education Department. And, it was said that the teachers employed at the district level are agitating against the competency test by taking out protests and torchlight processions. This work is against the conduct of teachers. Therefore, they should be identified and strict action should be taken against them. Not only this, instructions have been given not to give any kind of leave to all the employed teachers on 13th February.
